# Terms of Service

## 1\. Agreement to Terms

These terms apply when you book or use services from KL1 Plumber, operated by Hong Seng Plumbing, a business registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM). By booking a visit or accepting a quotation, you agree to these terms.

## 2\. Our Services

We provide plumbing, roof leak repair and waterproofing services, including:

Tiling, carpentry, electrical rewiring at the DB board and full re-roofing are outside our standard scope unless stated in your quotation.

## 3\. Troubleshooting Fees and Quotations

-   The general on-site troubleshooting fee is **RM30**. It is waived when you accept our repair quotation. If you decide not to proceed, the RM30 is payable.
-   The water pump inspection fee is **RM80**. It is not waived, because it covers dedicated diagnostic time and testing.
-   Standard plumbing repairs typically cost RM80 to RM500 depending on complexity and materials. Larger jobs are quoted after inspection.
-   No repair work starts until you have approved the quotation. If we find additional problems during the work, we will explain them and agree any extra cost with you before continuing.

## 4\. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless your quotation states otherwise. Larger projects may require a deposit. We accept cash and card payment. Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).

## 5\. Access and Site Conditions

-   Please give us safe access to the work area, the water meter and main valves.
-   For condos and strata properties, you are responsible for any management approval, though we are happy to help coordinate permits and working hours.
-   Some work, such as leak detection, hacking or waterproofing, may require tiles, plaster or ground to be opened. We aim to keep openings as small as possible. Matching discontinued tiles cannot be guaranteed.

## 6\. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. If our technician arrives and cannot access the property, the troubleshooting fee may apply.

## 7\. Workmanship and Follow-Up

We stand behind our workmanship. If you have a concern about work we have completed, contact us promptly with photos and we will arrange to inspect it. Workmanship terms for specific jobs are stated on your quotation or invoice. Faults caused by misuse, third-party work, existing pipe deterioration elsewhere in the system or events outside our control are not covered.

## 8\. Liability and Insurance

KL1 Plumber is fully insured for liability. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out, except where the law does not allow such limits. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects we could not reasonably detect, or indirect losses.

## 9\. Strata Disputes

Our inspection findings describe what we observe and test. They are not legal advice and do not decide responsibility under the Strata Management Act 2013. Please refer to your JMB or MC, or a lawyer, for legal questions.

## 10\. Website Content

Guides and information on this website are general in nature. Every property is different, so please ask us to inspect before relying on any information for a decision. All website content, including text and images, belongs to KL1 Plumber.

## 11\. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to bookings made after the date shown above.
