## Blocked Drains in Seri Kembangan? Help Is on the Way

The Local Problem

### Shared-house drain chokes near UPM

Floor traps drain slowly, the kitchen sink backs up and the toilet chokes again a few weeks after the last clear-out.

**Why it happens here:** With Universiti Putra Malaysia on the doorstep, many homes around Taman Universiti Indah and Serdang Raya are let to several tenants at once. More people means more hair, grease and wipes in lines sized for one family.

**How we fix it:** Our drain clearing team clears the line mechanically, checks the inspection chamber and leaves landlords and tenants simple prevention tips.

### A burst pipe after midnight

Close the main stopcock at your meter and call the 24/7 line. We stop the water first, then quote the permanent repair.

### A water bill that suddenly jumped

A running toilet or a concealed pipe is the usual culprit. Leak detection finds it without trial-and-error hacking.

### A ceiling stain that keeps coming back

We test the roof, the pipes and the waterproofing so the real source gets fixed, not just the stain.

### Choked toilets and floor traps

Cleared mechanically, not with harsh chemicals, then we check the trap and line so the choke stays gone.

Local Knowledge

## About Our Service Along the Sungai Besi Route

Seri Kembangan began as Serdang New Village in 1950 and now mixes old village houses, terrace estates and condominiums between Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Blocked drains, water heater repairs and leak detection are our most common calls.

**Universiti Putra Malaysia** keeps rental demand high around **Taman Universiti Indah** and **Serdang Raya**, so many homes are shared by several tenants and their drains work harder. Since March 2023 the **MRT Putrajaya Line** stations at **Taman Equine** and Serdang Raya have added new condos to the mix.

We come in from Pudu via the **Sungai Besi Expressway** and **MEX**, and work across MBSJ, Kajang council and Sepang council areas, including **Bandar Putra Permai**.

### Getting to you

Reached from Pudu via the Sungai Besi Expressway and MEX, with MRT Putrajaya Line stations opened in March 2023.

- Sungai Besi Expressway
- MEX (Maju Expressway)
- North-South Expressway Southern Route
- East-West Link
- MRT Putrajaya Line (UPM, Taman Equine, Serdang Raya)
- KTM Serdang

### Our Route From Pudu

From Pudu we take the **Sungai Besi Highway** south, or the **MEX Highway** for the Putrajaya side, which brings us into **Serdang Raya and Taman Equine** without crossing busy town centres.

- **Taman Equine and Bandar Putra Permai:** reached from the MEX side.
- **Serdang Raya and Taman Universiti Indah:** close to the Sungai Besi route and the **MRT Putrajaya Line** stations.
- **Peak hours:** both highways can be slow at rush hour; we give an honest arrival window.

Our 24/7 emergency line covers the whole area.

### Homes We Work In

The area has a mix of **terrace houses, low-cost flats and newer condominiums** around Serdang.

- **Terraces in Taman Equine and Bandar Putra Permai:** instant water heaters, blocked kitchen lines and roof leaks.
- **Rental homes near Serdang:** heavy-use bathrooms with choked floor traps and toilets.
- **Condos along the MRT Putrajaya Line:** bathroom seepage and booster pump faults, with management coordination.

Whatever the property, we diagnose first and quote before the work starts.

Got Questions?

## Seri Kembangan Plumbing FAQs

Local answers for homeowners, landlords and tenants.

### Do you unblock drains in shared houses near UPM?

Yes. Homes around Taman Universiti Indah and Serdang Raya are often let to several students or workers, so traps and kitchen lines choke more often. We clear them mechanically and check the inspection chamber.

### Can you repair my water heater?

Yes. We repair elements and thermostats, diagnose RCCB tripping and install new instant or storage heaters.

### How long will it take you to reach Seri Kembangan?

It depends on traffic on the Sungai Besi and MEX routes. We give you an honest arrival window when you call, and emergencies run 24/7.

### How much is a plumber here?

Visits cost RM30 to diagnose, and that fee falls away when you go ahead. Typical repairs are RM80 to RM500, with an average job near RM250.

### Do you work in condos near the Taman Equine MRT station?

Yes. The MRT Putrajaya Line stations opened in March 2023 and brought new condos nearby. We handle bathroom seepage, floor traps and booster pumps, coordinating access with management.

### Can landlords book you for rental properties?

Yes. Landlords often WhatsApp us the problem and we arrange access with the tenant directly.

### Still have a question?

Send us a photo of the problem on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it likely is and what it costs to check.
