## Roof Leaks or Old Pipes in Ipoh?

The Local Problem

### Heavy rain on ageing roofs and pipes in Ipoh Garden

Ceiling stains appear after a storm, the tank overflows and water pressure drops in a decades-old bungalow.

**Why it happens here:** Ipoh averages about 2,897 mm of rain a year, more than Kuala Lumpur, so roofs on older landed homes in Ipoh Garden and Canning Garden work hard. Many of these houses also keep their original supply pipes and tanks.

**How we fix it:** We schedule a single visit that covers roof leak repair, failing pipe runs and the water tank, so one trip fixes the whole chain.

### A burst pipe after midnight

Close the main stopcock at your meter and call the 24/7 line. We stop the water first, then quote the permanent repair.

### A water bill that suddenly jumped

A running toilet or a concealed pipe is the usual culprit. Leak detection finds it without trial-and-error hacking.

### A ceiling stain that keeps coming back

We test the roof, the pipes and the waterproofing so the real source gets fixed, not just the stain.

### Choked toilets and floor traps

Cleared mechanically, not with harsh chemicals, then we check the trap and line so the choke stays gone.

### Do I need to book ahead?

Yes, please schedule by phone or WhatsApp so we can plan the visit properly.

Yes. We survey first and replace failing runs with suitable materials such as PPR and HDPE.

### Why does my roof leak so often?

The inspection fee is RM30 and does not apply once you agree to the repair. Re-piping and roof work are quoted after we inspect.

### Still have a question?

Send us a photo of the problem on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it likely is and what it costs to check.
